Smoothie Challenge

As my 30th birthday approaches, I have realized that I have slacked on losing the last bit of weight I gained during my last pregnancy. With 4 months remaining until my birthday, and summer creeping its way in...I've kicked it into high gear! Clean eating...gym 3x a week...& workouts at home! As a part of my new regimen, I have began making smoothies every morning as my breakfast. (My NutriBullet was a GREAT investment!)
A good friend of mine and I have started a "Smoothie Challenge"...no prize lol...more or less for fun, but mainly as motivation to keep going; not only for ourselves, but to reach out and motivate others.
No exact rules, but here's the jist...
Research different types of smoothies, especially looking for great health benefits.
Make your smoothie lol
Drink 1 or 2 a day...we generally make and have our for breakfast - fuel for the day!
Take a picture of your smoothie - pre-blended, post-blended, or as you drink it...doesnt matter how lol just take the pic!
Post your pic on Instagram with the hashtag #ACSmoothieChallenge, tag @everyday.superwoman and don't forget to include the ingredients!
Most Importantly - HAVE FUN!!
Here's a an example of one of my smoothies:
Peach & Spinach
1 1/2 C Fresh Spinach
1 1/2 C Frozen Peaches
1 Medium Banana
2 Kiwifruit
4 T Gruond Flaxseed
1 C Almond Milk
Add all ingredients to your blender or NutriBullet, blend and ENJOY!!
*This makes either 1 - 24oz. smoothie, or 2 - 12oz. smoothies...I usually split what I make with my husband.
