So as you know, I enjoy…no I love searching out new restaurants and giving them a try! I have found yet another! There has been some recent buzz about a new spot in Detroit. It’s located on what is called the “Avenue of Fashion”…Livernois, between 7 Mile & 8 Mile Roads. “Kuzzo’s Chicken & Waffles”
Last week, my honey and I tried it out! It was everything I NEEDED it to be lol… We both had chicken and waffles (duh!) – I had the “What Up Doe” with a coffee, and my husband had the “Trey-Duece” with a sweet tea. OMG!!
But it wasn’t just the food, it was the environment. The restaurant has a fresh, open, friendly atmosphere. Our waitress, Yonni, who was also training someone else (I think she may have also been like a manager or a lead), was so sweet, and friendly.
We plan on going back soon, and bringing our kids…which is a task in itself lol! We’re sure they will enjoy it…we just have to decide on the best time to take all 5 children out to eat lol…
It was a Tuesday morning around 10:30 when we visited Kuzzo’s, and we were able to get right in and be seated. But by the time we were leaving it was beginning to flood with patrons. (SOOOOO glad we got there when we did lol) So if…not if…WHEN you visit, plan accordingly lol…
