I been in the fire so long I can't get burned no mo' I thought you was puttin' out the flame But it was rain from the storm Thoughts all in my head Makin' me stressed All day long They won't let me rest "S" on my chest I ain't that strong
I need a life line right now 911 won't do My back's against the wall now I've done all that I can do I prayed every prayer Went to every service Like I know how Just a ship without a sail I'm lost without your help
I need help Oh Lord I need your help Whoa ooh Lord
Have you ever had a "bad" day? Like a really, really bad day? Nothing seems to be going right, you are doing any & everything to make it go smoother. Feeling depressed, stressed, and just irritated with it all? Go left, when you meant to go right? Woke up with a smile on your face, and joy in your heart...and then all of a sudden it's completely gone? What do you do about it?
For me, I need time to myself. I reflect on what "seems" to be wrong. And majority of the time, it's all "small stuff". I then begin to think of the good things that are going on in my life. Number 1: I'M ALIVE!!! That's the BEST thing to remember. Secondly, I remember why I am alive...it's all by the grace of God! And I know that He wouldn't put more on me than I could handle.
Yes, it gets hard sometimes, and yes it may seem like the pain will never end. So I lean on Him and I pray to Him for "Help". And then...God moves!
I am uplifted, and there is a shift in my spirit & attitude! God works in mysterious ways, and for me it came through a song - "Help", by Erica Campbell. I was reminded that God is always there to support me in my struggles, and that I can get through anything, keeping my faith strong in Him.
It may be a completely different avenue for you, but which ever way it comes, know that you are not alone. We all struggle, and you can get through whatever it may be!
The "Merriam-Webster" dictionary lists the definition of help as: to make it easier for (someone) to do something by offering one's services or resources.
Don't be afraid to ask for HELP! Through prayer, or simply asking someone for assistance. Don't allow the fear of others knowing your issues, or your pride get in your way! That will only put you further behind, and make things worse! It could be as simple as a conversation with your best friend...
The Everyday Superwoman is here to inspire you and "help"!
